Although introduced by the James Hardie corporation in 80s, fiber cement siding already leads the way. A mix of sand, cellulose and cement, it can be produced in panels, as lap siding and as trim pieces. Due to its durability, low maintenance requirements, wide variety of sizes and textures as well as colors, fiber cement siding is an ideal choice. It’s worth mentioning that if you’re looking to put durability, reliability and style in one basket - fiber cement is definitely worthy going for.
Metal for siding is not a commonly considered material. Although, metal can be a great choice for siding - especially if your building has a contemporary aesthetic. Will it be corrugated steel or copper, our metal sidings are durable and require quite little if any maintenance. Metal siding cost varies widely depending on the choice of material and details. Our skilled craftsmen are ready to tackle any metal siding installation across Pennsylvania & New Jersey.
Wood is one of the favorites for siding options both in the United States and Canada. Whether it is vertical siding like board and batten, or horizontal siding like shakes, clapboards or shingles, there are species and grades commonly used for all applications. Our builders and installers know what species are available in our regional market. If you think on getting the wood that comes from a distance, is not often harvested, or is not suitable for your particular region, you could end up holding up a project and raising your budget considerably. Right, nobody wants to spend a fortune and go beyond the estimated budget or breaking one’s bank. So, before setting on wood siding material - we recommend you talk to one of our siding experts about rot resistance, splitting, cupping or checking. We take all necessary steps to make sure that the wood acllimates on site, thoroughly protected upon installation, and, of course, is properly sealed.
